More because of all the hate I got from my article on the FP. Awesome because I still made the FP.

Dude that was an unnecessary amount of hate. It's like some people pinned you down and started waterboarding words into your mouth.
Not that my opinion matters, but I think it comes from a lot of pent up frustration about bullshit surrounding American cars these days, and FAR too many people don't get the allure of a muscle car. It's not supposed to be a sports car, or a sport sedan, or anything like that. It's supposed to be big, stupid, unapologetic fun for the most part. Making noise and smoke while steering with your right foot. Some muscle car guys (such as myself) enjoy all other makes and styles of cars (with some small exceptions) but take serious issues when high and mighty pricks (not calling you this!) pass judgement on our vehicle of choice.

I need to start, but I have to drive to the store soon, so not yet. I already told my brother and wife that this would be a drinking night!

The thing that I found frustrating was I really liked it, and the only reason I put that intro in there was to show the danger of making snap unbased judgments about cars. It gave me such a big grin when I just dropped the clutch and smoked the tires, like pretty much any car I get to drive. Pretty much all my opinions that weren't based on experience have been spirited away, starting with the Tesla, damn that car is ridiculous. It's a lot like a muscle car, crap tons of torque and way more fun than you think it's going to be. Really I'm just thankful I get to do it and my friends and family let me! This year alone, I got to drive an Evo, a Model S, the Camaro, a few trucks, and hopefully later this year a Viper and possibly and NSX!
Oh and I'm a muscle car guy too, I tried to buy a 73 Camaro with a brand new 350 and a 4 speed until the hood flew off because the seller forgot to put the hood pins in correctly. Then I tried to buy an IROC, but then the seller backed out. I also helped build a 68 Mustang, and a 383 stroker engine for a 89 Camaro. V8's have a special place in my heart. After the drive in the Camaro, I immediately went to ebay to see if I could find an smashed up 6 speed Camaro that I could rip the engine out and sway it into my FRS.
